Name: Jeroen Meijer

DOB: April 3rd, 1973

Bio: Jeroen started sand sculpting in 1999 while he was still studying
industrial design at the Technical University Delft. After graduating in
July, 2001 he worked at a small company designing children push wagons With the company not doing to well, Jeroen was forced to look for a new job. In that period he was asked by the sand sculpting company Inaxi to be in the team for designing sculpture parks. Since the beginning of 2003 he has been working on the development of parks in sand, snow and ice, designing the layout, drawing presentations and doing technical calculations. Together with carving in big events, competitions and small projects all over the world it has become a full time job. At the moment with developing his drawing and designing skills he's trying to get a foot back into product design. Nonetheless the other one will stay in sand sculpting.

Hobbies: his girlfriend, drawing, working out, watching television
